The Fox
Set in the beautiful countryside, Bramdean’s Fox Inn was already 200 years old when the Prince of Wales (crowned George IV) came for refreshment with his entourage.
In lasting memory to the hospitality given to him, the prince granted the landlord the right to display his famous crest.
The Fox Inn
Cromwell
And the Fox Inn is truly historic, having witnessed Cromwell’s soldiers and the King’s Army march by to do battle at Cheriton in 1644. A battle that changed the course of the Civil War.
Today and fronting the A272 road, midway between Winchester and Petersfield, the Fox Inn is an oasis of excellent ales and food that will delight even the most jaded palate.
There is a large selection of starters and main courses at lunchtimes and evenings, all prepared to a high standard. Please see out menu for more information.
